Pastor Johnny Beaver
Johnny Beaver hails from Forest, MS. Early on he knew that God had a call upon his life and by the time that he graduated Scott Central High School, he was licensed and ordained by his home church, Steele Baptist Church.
After graduation Johnny entered into the Navy Reserves and trained in San Diego, CA, as a hospital corpsman.
After returning home he enrolled in East Central Community College where he met his wife Candie.
They would marry their sophmore year of college and spend their first summer together in the hills of Northwest Arkansas as missionaries.
After that summer they moved to Hattiesburg, MS, where Johnny would eventually graduate from William Carey College.
Johnny would go on to receive his Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Reformed
Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.
Johnny pastored several church in the state of Mississippi until 2006. It was then that he moved his family to Tennessee and in 2009 he would become the pastor of what was then West Lafayette Baptist Church. It would later change its name to Calvary Baptist Church. During this time he has served as the Chaplain for the Tennessee Highway Patrol in their Nashville District and as the Bledsoe Baptist Association Youth Minister. Until recently he was also the president of the Board of Directors for the missions organization International Christian Partners
He and his wife Candie have been married for 25 years and
have two children, Sam and Sydney Beaver.
